The Thrill of the Hunt

So, now that I am unemployed and deactivated my Facebook (2 weeks and going! Read rant below), I think I should be writing in here more often. Lately, the only writing I've been doing involves filling out applications from all walks of life and occasional scribbles of "Kill Me Now!" in my composition book. I still haven't decided on my stance involving that decision, although sometimes the easy way out of dealing with crap and bills by jumping off a bridge onto 75 seems appetizing.
I kid. I was born to be the world's entertainment on how to feel better about oneself, I can't die yet.
Onward ho...tomorrow Chaz has a show, he's in a group called The Booze. I made flyers for this thing and apparently someone keeps taking them.

He says it's most likely that someone's hatin', but I also said maybe someone really likes them. :D

I want to do more with my art, and watching a ton of Ralph Bakshi films lately is just eating away at my soul at wanting to make up some characters and have a weirdo perverted look at my peers just as the way he did...so real, so very 'then.'

I have got to get myself a job though, or else I'll continue to be lazy. In the meantime, follow my latest scribbles and Photoshop parades here:

Oh, and before I go, here's my reason for getting ridda the ol' EffBee. I found that Facebook is a waste of time. People sit around getting fat and decide it's better to whine online about their boredom than go out and actually connect with people. People have gotten more flaky, dumb, and talkative. While people told me they enjoyed my updates, I realized I think too much and if I keep spouting my intelligence I'll eventually get ignored because they only really enjoy posts about fashion or videos of people dancing. Also, I really figured no one would notice. A couple of people did, some may not til they decide they need something from me, or are just too stupid to remember they have my number and will ask me at tomorrow's show. In case you didn't know, I miss the old days of going out and running into friends or calling them (well I admit I hate calls and prefer texts because of the cheaper efficiency, can respond at my own chosen speed). I have Seinfeld to blame for that too, since they always 'run' into people and that city's HUGE!

Whelp, think that ends today's rumble, I've got some rice and beans with sofrito to prepare when Chaz gets done with work/practice, after I finish filling out surveys and playing my King.com freeplay for easy lazy cash.

  1. After I learned how badly Bakshi cheated and ripped off R. Crumb, I could never watch another of his movies. Bakshi is scum of the typical Hollywood variety, and his art does not redeem him.
